Blueprint for Change: Revisiting the Mission

From the beginning, it has been part of our mission to serve our community by providing information on issues related to child welfare. Since receiving our non-profit status, the establishment and support of the Neighborhood Place model has been our main focus.

 

Recently however, we have decided that Blueprint for Change is capable of doing much more in the fight against child abuse and neglect. As a result, we have begun to venture out into more community activism and awareness efforts. Our unique position with the services providers, and the Hawai’i State Legislature, gives us a firm understanding of both sides of the coin. This allows us to act as a bridge between the policy makers, and the constituents for whom they serve.
