To prevent child abuse and neglect by helping families recognize their strengths.

Neighborhood Place of Puna
Provides the following services to help families build a safe and nurturing home:
• Free, Short-term family Outreach and home visits
• Talk Story Counseling
• Information and referral to other community resources
• Solutions to difficult situations
• Address parenting concerns, power struggles, chores, curfew, etc.
• Advocacy and Support
• Basic Life Skills
• Community Outreach and coordination of community services

How Can you help?
• Come in and visit us
• Ask the Neighborhood Place to send a family outreach worker to your home
• Tell a Friend or neighbor about the program
• Help reduce child abuse and neglect by helping a neighbor
• Call the Neighborhood Place for someone who needs our services
